Weather and Climate at Chitwan National Park (Sauraha)
Chitwan lies in the Terai Region of Nepal at 400 meters above sea level. It has a typical monsoon climate with much humidity through out the year. During the summer, the temperature reaches up to 45 degrees Celsius whereas in winter it goes down to 10-15 Degrees Celsius. It is the reason why winter and summer are not recommended to do Chitwan tour. Whereas, during spring and autumn the temperature is mild with less humidity. It remains between 15-25 Degrees Celsius.
